Canine and feline echocardiograms are non-invasive, painless, and typically require little to no sedation. Diagnosis and staging of canine MMVD or feline HCM, pre-anesthetic risk assessment, and extensive echocardiograms with colour doppler and spectral doppler (with cardiologist interpretation) are all within our capabilities.

An assessment of the entire abdomen is performed, including liver, gall bladder, spleen, kidneys, bladder, urethra, prostate, pancreas, stomach, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, colon, lymph nodes, and intra-abdominal vasculature.

An excellent modality for diagnosing and monitoring soft tissue injuries involving joints, tendons, and ligaments. Ultrasound can also be helpful for investigating superficial foreign bodies, wound tracts, and diagnosing certain fractures.

Ultrasound of equine necks, backs, and pelvises is also within our skill set. Ultrasound-guided injection of the neck, back, and sacro-iliac joint is also offered.

We are happy to provide equine radiography consultation and assistance, especially for complex lamenesses or pre-purchase examinations.

Using ultrasound to guide a needle into a mass, organ, or fluid-filled area. This allows for diagnostic testing for accurate diagnosis of infections, inflammation, and neoplasia. This procedure is often an excellent alternative to exploratory surgery.
